Open Inventory
Sidebar → Inventory. Techs see their own truck and a shopping list. Office and owner see a tech selector plus six sections: Truck Inventory, Purchasing Dashboard, Shopping List, Spending Insights, Chemical Usage, Warehouse Inventory.
Add items to a truck
Click Add Item. Fields: Name (auto-linked to your parts catalog), Category (Chemical, Tool, Equipment, Part, Other), Quantity, Unit, Min threshold (triggers a reorder alert when stock drops), On truck, and optional Barcode.
Use a truck load template
Apply Truck Load Template bulk-adds a standard set to a truck — e.g., 'Service truck — weekly load.' Build templates once, apply every Monday.
Load from warehouse / return to warehouse
Warehouse stock lives in Warehouse Inventory. Load to Truck moves quantity from warehouse to a tech's truck. Return to Warehouse sends it back. Every move is logged.
Automatic decrements
When a tech logs chemistry dosing on a stop, the chemicals they used decrement from their truck automatically. Same with parts on a work order when it's marked complete. You don't need to update manually.
Count inventory
Count Inventory opens a physical-count flow — enter actual on-hand quantities and DeweyIQ reconciles the delta with an audit trail.
Purchasing & spending
Purchasing Dashboard groups items by urgency (needed, ordered, estimated spend). Spending Insights breaks spend down by supplier and month. Chemical Usage groups consumption by tech or category.
