Working a route as a tech

4 MIN READ·UPDATED 2026-04-16
01

Morning briefing

Open the app — your day appears: total stops, weather, and a flowing progress bar. Tap any stop to see customer details, gate code, and chemistry history.

Open routes
02

Navigate to a stop

Each stop has a Maps button (right side). Tap it — opens Apple Maps or Google Maps with the address pre-filled. Set your preferred maps app once in Settings → Account.

03

Log chemistry

Tap into the stop, then 'Log chemistry'. Tap each parameter, type the reading. LSI/CSI calculates instantly. If it's out of range, you'll see suggested corrective doses (with exact ounces/lbs).

04

Run through the checklist

The default service checklist appears. Tap each task to check it off. Required tasks must be checked before you can mark the stop complete.

05

Take photos

Tap the camera icon. Photos auto-tag with customer + pool + visit. Customers see them on their service report (no awkward texts).

06

Mark complete

Hit 'Complete Stop'. The customer gets a branded service report (chemistry, photos, completed tasks). Your route progress bar advances.

07

Skip a stop (if needed)

If you can't get in (locked gate, no access), hit 'Skip Stop'. Pick a reason. The stop reschedules automatically per your org's rules.
